Academic Dates iCalendar

What is iCalendar?

iCalendar (.ics) is a standard format for calendar data exchange that enables publishing of calendars or schedules on the web. These can then be viewed by a calendaring program such as MS Outlook 2007 or iCal.

Microsoft Outlook 2003 does not support subscriptions (receiving updates automatically on a configurable basis), only importing (when you import an iCalendar file you will not receive any updates).

Instructions for subscribing to iCalendar

  1. In Outlook 2010 click on 'Calendar' in the bottom left.
  2. Along the top, click on 'Open Calendar'. On the submenu that opens, choose 'From Internet'.
  3. Paste the below URL and click 'OK'
  4. When prompted to 'Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates', choose 'Yes'.
